How FBTL
Works

A monthly subscription focused on the side of tennis our sport has neglected and failed to teach: the emotional experience of the competitive tennis player—the part that ultimately shapes your success, your enjoyment, and your longevity in the game.

"This is a proactive, preventative program for the emotions we know are coming. We see them on the tours. And if they're happening to the best players in the world, they're happening to all of us. The goal isn't to avoid those moments. It's to prepare you for them."

The Platform

Six Connected Sections

Every section of FBTL works together. The Teaching Academy builds the traits. Daily Routines turn them into habits. The Emotion Racket helps you understand your state. Pep Talks prepare you for the hard moments. The Player's Box aligns your support system. And Character ties it all together—who you are and who you're becoming.

Section 01

Teaching Academy

The Teaching Academy is the heart and soul of FBTL. The goal is simple: build the ideal player.

I've identified the traits shared by the most successful and grounded people I know—not just great tennis players, but leaders across every walk of life. Each month, we take one trait and teach you how to develop it, apply it, and make it part of your game.

I'd love to teach you Rafa's forehand or Serena's serve—I could have used either one myself. But what I can teach you is how to compete like them, respond like them, and carry yourself like them.

First Month's Trait: Self-Awareness. Every trait follows the same four-step process — learn it, practice it, apply it, and earn it.

The EQ Grid

Chart Your Progress

We start with a baseline test. Let's see where you are. Then four weeks of training. Then we retest, and you earn yourself a badge on our FBTL EQ Grid — think of it as your bingo card.

One badge a month. Fill the card. Become the player. Apply it to tennis, then take it with us into life.

Section 02

Daily Routines

Time-tested practices used by high performers across every field—check-ins, mindfulness, meditation, mantras, reflection. Small habits. Big emotional edge. You train your strokes. Train your inner game the same way.

Here's the philosophy: build it before you need it. Pressure exposes habits. Routines build them. So we check in before emotions take over. We reset before the match gets away. We train the skills we'll need when the pressure hits.

Think of it as your emotional immune system—built before the stress arrives.

Sixty seconds if that's all you've got. Three minutes if you have it. Match-day prep when it counts.

The First Week Is on Me.

Free. No commitment. Give us seven honest days. Use it, practice it, take it onto the court—and see what changes. If it doesn't give you something you didn't have before, walk away. But seven days may be enough to feel the difference.
